RNG PRODUCTION
Innovative Project
Development and testing at a pilot demonstration scale of a new concept of production process that will convert carbon dioxide - obtained from biogas - in biomethane, by an improved hydrogen methanation process. The final product can be compressed or liquefied in bio-RNG or bio-LNG for final use as RNG in transport, in particular heavy goods road, passenger road and maritime.

PPS4 GOALS
Production of 100% renewable natural gas (RNG) in the form of biomethane (bio-RNG/LNG).
This PPS4 intends to demonstrate a sustainable integrated technology for the production of gaseous biofuel with a sustainability index above 95% reduction in greenhouse gas emissions, compared to the use of diesel, in the medium and long road freight sector distance.
